A large Northeast regional bank is seeking a Head of US Consumer Deposit Product Enablement, Re-engineering & Delivery to lead strategic transformation initiatives across its consumer deposit product organization.

This executive leadership role is responsible for driving the modernization, operational optimization, and enterprise delivery of consumer deposit products and services. The position will oversee end-to-end product enablement, process re-engineering, delivery governance, and cross-functional execution to improve customer experience, accelerate innovation, and enhance operational performance across the organization.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in consumer banking and deposit products, along with a strong track record leading enterprise-scale transformation initiatives within complex and highly regulated financial services environments.


Key Responsibilities:

Consumer Deposit Product Leadership

  • Lead the end-to-end enablement, re-engineering, and delivery of consumer deposit products and services across the organization
  • Define and execute strategic initiatives to modernize and optimize deposit product offerings, customer experiences, and operational capabilities
  • Align product transformation initiatives with enterprise business objectives, customer needs, and regulatory expectations

Transformation & Process Re-engineering

  • Drive enterprise transformation initiatives focused on:
    • Product modernization
    • Operational efficiency
    • Process optimization
    • Time-to-market acceleration
  • Redesign and streamline business processes to improve scalability, automation, customer engagement, and delivery execution
  • Lead organizational change initiatives supporting new operating models, delivery frameworks, and business processes

Cross-Functional Delivery & Execution

  • Oversee cross-functional teams responsible for product launches, enhancements, and transformation initiatives
  • Partner with:
    • Technology organizations
    • Operations teams
    • Compliance and risk groups
    • Product management teams
    • Business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives
  • Establish integrated delivery governance, execution frameworks, and enterprise coordination processes

Governance, Risk & Performance Management

  • Establish governance frameworks, KPIs, and performance metrics to measure product effectiveness, delivery success, and operational outcomes
  • Ensure all product initiatives comply with:
    • Banking regulations
    • Risk management standards
    • Compliance requirements
    • Enterprise governance policies
  • Monitor program performance, identify risks and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies proactively

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage vendor relationships and third-party partnerships supporting consumer deposit products and delivery initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with executive leadership and key enterprise stakeholders across business and technology organizations
  • Influence strategic decisions and drive alignment within highly matrixed organizational structures

Leadership & Team Development

  • Build, lead, and mentor high-performing teams across product enablement, delivery, and operational transformation functions
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, agility, and continuous improvement
  • Drive adoption of modern delivery methodologies and enterprise transformation best practices

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in:
    • Consumer banking
    • Deposit products
    • Product management
    • Enterprise transformation leadership
  • Proven track record successfully leading large-scale product transformation and modernization initiatives
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Retail banking operations
    • Deposit systems and platforms
    • Consumer banking technology ecosystems

  • Demonstrated ability to drive measurable results within complex, matrixed organizations
  • Excellent leadership, executive communication, and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Experience with:
    • Agile methodologies
    • Modern product delivery frameworks

  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations, compliance standards, and operational risk management
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in financial services with significant leadership responsibility

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading enterprise-scale operational transformation and modernization programs within retail or consumer banking organizations
