A US bank is seeking a Director, Delivery Practitioner to join its technology organization.

Role Overview
The Director, Delivery Practitioner will lead and manage the delivery of complex technology initiatives, ensuring successful execution of strategic programs and projects. This role requires a seasoned professional who can drive delivery excellence while fostering collaboration across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale technology programs and projects
- Establish and maintain delivery frameworks, methodologies, and best practices
- Manage cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of solutions
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria
- Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery capabilities and efficiency
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to delivery teams
- Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party delivery partners as needed
- Report on program status, metrics, and outcomes to senior leadership
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in technology delivery, program management, or related roles
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale technology programs
- Strong knowledge of delivery methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches
- Experience in financial services or highly regulated industries
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities
- Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and drive consensus
- PMP, SAFe, or other relevant certifications preferred
- Experience with delivery management tools and platforms

- Master’s degree in relevant field
- Experience in digital transformation initiatives
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and modern software development practices
- Background in change management and organizational transformation
Compensation: $130,000 – $281,000
