A large Midwest regional bank is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to join their team.
Location: Hybrid – Amherst, NY
This role offers the opportunity to lead strategic initiatives and drive project success within a dynamic banking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
The Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Sr. Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of project management experience
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex, cross-functional projects
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs
- Experience working in a financial services or banking environment preferred
- PMP certification or equivalent preferred
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with project management tools and software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Ability to create and maintain detailed project documentation
- Risk management and mitigation expertise

Compensation: $96,000.00 – $181,000.00
