A tier-one global bank is seeking an Executive Director, Project Manager for Business Transformation Services.

Role Overview:
The Executive Director, Project Manager will lead critical business transformation initiatives, driving strategic change across the organization. This role requires a seasoned professional who can manage complex, enterprise-wide projects while collaborating with senior stakeholders across multiple business lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project management for large-scale business transformation initiatives
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
- Partner with senior business leaders and technology teams to define project objectives and deliverables
- Manage cross-functional teams and coordinate activities across multiple workstreams
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies
- Facilitate executive-level steering committee meetings and provide regular status updates to senior leadership
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and quality standards
- Drive change management activities to support successful adoption of new processes and systems
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party resources as needed
- Mentor and develop junior project management staff
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of project management experience in financial services
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex transformation programs
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with experience presenting to C-suite executives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred
- Experience with project management tools and software
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial services operations
Compensation: $150,000 – $250,000
