A large Northeast regional bank is seeking a Director, Transformation Manager to lead critical organizational change initiatives and drive strategic transformation across the enterprise.

Position Overview
The Director, Transformation Manager will be responsible for overseeing and executing large-scale transformation programs that align with the bank’s strategic objectives. This role requires a seasoned professional who can manage complex projects, lead cross-functional teams, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end transformation initiatives across multiple business units and functions
- Develop and implement comprehensive program plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets
- Partner with senior leadership to define transformation roadmaps and ensure alignment with strategic priorities
- Manage stakeholder relationships and communications across all levels of the organization
- Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the transformation lifecycle
- Drive change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working
- Establish governance frameworks and reporting mechanisms to track progress and outcomes
- Coach and mentor project teams to build transformation capabilities across the organization
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to inform transformation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in transformation, program management, or management consulting
- Proven track record of leading large-scale, complex transformation initiatives in financial services
- Strong understanding of banking operations, products, and regulatory environment
- Exceptional project management skills with experience using industry-standard methodologies
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills with ability to influence senior executives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with change management frameworks and tools
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certifications preferred
Compensation: $190,000 – $225,000
