A US bank is seeking a Senior Vice President, Solution Architect to join their technology team.

Position Overview
The Senior Vice President, Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-level technology solutions that align with business objectives and strategic initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of complex systems architecture, integration patterns, and modern technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive solution architectures for enterprise applications and systems
- Lead technical design sessions and provide architectural guidance to development teams
- Evaluate and recommend technology platforms, tools, and frameworks
- Create detailed technical documentation including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and integration patterns
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and best practices
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical oversight throughout project lifecycles
- Mentor and guide technical teams on architectural principles and design patterns
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Partner with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure solution viability
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in solution architecture or related technical roles
- Strong expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies
- Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale, complex systems
- Deep knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, and microservices architecture
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong understanding of security principles and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to influence and drive consensus among technical and business stakeholders
- Experience in financial services or banking industry preferred
