A large Midwest regional bank is seeking a Sr. Principal Enterprise Solution Architect to join their team.
Location: Columbus, OH
The Sr. Principal Enterprise Solution Architect will be responsible for defining and driving the enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology standards. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain enterprise architecture standards, patterns, and best practices
- Lead the design and implementation of complex, enterprise scale solutions
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams and other architects
- Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the enterprise
- Collaborate with business and technology leaders to understand requirements and translate them into architectural solutions
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture principles
- Drive architectural governance and compliance across the organization
- Mentor and develop junior architects and technical staff
- Participate in strategic planning and technology roadmap development
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or related roles
- Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with microservices architecture, APIs, and integration patterns
- Expertise in modern application development methodologies and technologies
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, and risk management principles
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross functional teams
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in relevant field
- Enterprise architecture certifications (TOGAF, etc.)
- Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.)
Compensation: $93,000 – $189,000 Annual Salary
