A tier-one global bank is seeking a Program/Project Manager at the Vice President level to join its team.
Location: On-site – Columbus, OH
This role requires a seasoned professional capable of leading complex programs and projects within a dynamic financial services environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive initiatives from conception through implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple complex programs and projects across the organization
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Provide regular status updates and reporting to senior leadership
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Drive process improvements and best practices in program management
- Facilitate communication between business units, technology teams, and executive leadership
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 7-10 years of program/project management experience in financial services or related industry
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex projects
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred
- Proficiency with project management tools and software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
