A tier-one global bank is seeking a VP Technology Lead Project Manager to join its technology organization.
Location: Hybrid – Jersey City, NJ
The VP Technology Lead Project Manager will be responsible for leading complex technology initiatives and managing cross-functional project teams to deliver critical business solutions. This role requires a seasoned technology professional with strong project management expertise and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage large-scale technology projects from initiation through delivery • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies • Coordinate across multiple technology teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively • Manage project budgets and ensure delivery within approved financial parameters • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business leadership • Drive adherence to project management methodologies and best practices • Provide regular status updates and executive reporting on project progress • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls • Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field • 8+ years of experience in technology project management • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technology projects • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities • Experience working in financial services or banking industry preferred • PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification preferred • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Compensation: $129,840.00 – $194,760.00
