A US bank is seeking a Senior Java/AI Engineer for a contract position.
Location: On-site – Lake Mary, FL
Position Overview
This role focuses on developing and implementing advanced Java-based solutions with artificial intelligence capabilities to support enterprise banking systems and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications integrated with AI/ML technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement AI-driven solutions for banking operations
- Build and optimize scalable, high-performance applications
- Integrate AI models and algorithms into existing Java frameworks
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production environments
- Document technical specifications and system architecture
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Java development (Java 8 or higher)
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the financial services or banking industry
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Background in machine learning model deployment and integration
Compensation: 74 – 83 USD hourly
