A $519.7M commercial bank located in New York is seeking a Senior Director, Technology & Digital Platforms to lead its technology and digital banking initiatives.

This senior leadership role will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, development, and execution of technology platforms and digital banking solutions. The position requires a seasoned technology executive with deep expertise in financial services digital transformation and platform modernization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the strategy, design, and implementation of digital banking platforms and technology infrastructure • Oversee the development and enhancement of customer-facing digital products and services • Drive digital transformation initiatives across the organization • Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers • Ensure platform scalability, security, and regulatory compliance • Collaborate with business stakeholders to align technology solutions with strategic objectives • Build and lead high-performing technology and digital product teams • Establish and monitor key performance indicators for digital platforms • Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends in digital banking • Manage technology budgets and resource allocation
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred • 10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience in financial services • Proven track record of leading digital banking platform implementations • Strong understanding of banking operations, regulations, and compliance requirements • Experience with cloud technologies, API integrations, and modern software development practices • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen • Experience managing technology vendors and third-party relationships • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and risk management
