A tier-one global bank is seeking a Product Manager at the Vice President level to join its team.
Location: On-site – New York, NY
This role offers the opportunity to drive product strategy and execution within a leading financial services organization. The Product Manager will be responsible for defining product vision, managing the product lifecycle, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet business objectives and client needs.
Key Responsibilities: • Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from conception through launch and optimization • Collaborate with technology, design, operations, and business stakeholders to deliver product solutions • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product decisions • Develop business cases and ROI analyses to support product investments • Define and track key performance indicators to measure product success • Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value and customer impact • Serve as the voice of the customer and advocate for user experience • Lead product planning sessions and facilitate requirements gathering • Present product updates and recommendations to senior leadership
Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree required • 7+ years of product management experience in financial services or related industry • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and presentation abilities • Experience working in agile development environments • Ability to influence and collaborate across organizational boundaries • Deep understanding of product management best practices and methodologies • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities
Preferred Qualifications: • MBA or advanced degree • Experience with digital banking products or platforms • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in financial services • Technical background or understanding of software development processes
