Richard brings more than three decades of banking leadership and product experience to Core System Partners. His career spans retail, commercial and private banking, with a focus on systems implementation, product development, product management, business management and client experience.

During 23 and a half years at Citi, Richard led major initiatives from the business side, including the implementation of Systematics. He created CitiBusiness Online and helped take the platform to the internet, giving commercial clients more direct and practical access to critical banking services.

Richard also created Citi Escrow and helped develop commercial products including Business Checking Plus and Ready Credit. In Citi Private Bank, he relaunched Citi Escrow, introduced the commercial product set and helped convert private-bank clients to the retail bank systems.

At Capital One, Richard launched a broad portfolio of new business products before moving into the private bank, where his work contributed to significant growth. Across both institutions, he developed a deep understanding of how product design, technology decisions, controls and operating processes shape the client experience.

At Core System Partners, Richard advises financial institutions on product strategy, requirements, vendor evaluation and implementation. He helps teams balance frictionless experiences with security, operational readiness and appropriate controls, and he is a strong advocate for piloting new platforms with selected clients so banks can learn, refine and launch with confidence.
