# Senior Transformation Delivery Manager

A large Northeast regional bank is seeking a Senior Transformation Program Manager to lead the Equipment Finance Technology Transformation Program. This role sits within the Transformation Office and drives technology and platform transformation initiatives, including core system consolidation and upgrades, requirements, data, integrations, testing, and deployments.

## What You'll Do:

Lead multi-disciplinary teams through complex business transformation initiatives and high impact strategic engagements. Build credibility and trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and key partners across the organization to break down silos and enable collaboration. Design, implement, and manage initiatives in alignment with enterprise governance standards and practices. Ensure technology solutions align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, scalability needs, and customer experience goals.

Lead with influence, serving as the trusted advisor to sponsors, project leaders, and stakeholders, driving alignment, clarity, and momentum. Develop data-driven strategic recommendations by leveraging deep knowledge of banking, customers, products, processes, technology, and organizational dynamics. Lead cross-functional teams with diverse perspectives to drive alignment and informed decision-making.

Navigate complexity by managing multiple efforts simultaneously, sequencing activities to mitigate risk and achieve target business outcomes. Provide senior leadership with clear, actionable insights through comprehensive program performance reporting. Drive execution certainty by establishing operating rhythm, setting pace, and ensuring disciplined delivery alongside senior leaders and strategic partners.

Measure what matters: Define clear outcomes, success metrics, and performance indicators to measure transformation success and value realization. Ensure timely follow-through on critical actions, decisions, risks, and issues through disciplined tracking, documentation, and escalation processes.

Develop and tailor communications, presentations, and other artifacts for audiences across the organization, ensuring clarity, quality, and engagement. Demonstrate agility by adapting quickly to new challenges, unfamiliar domains, and evolving priorities while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Apply prioritization and resourcing strategies to ensure effective deployment of talent and capabilities. Elevate transformation delivery capabilities by mentoring team members, sharing best practices, and promoting continuous learning across the organization. Champion the adoption of Transformation Delivery tools and best practices to ensure actions, risks, decisions, and issues are identified, documented, managed, and escalated appropriately.

Understand and adhere to the company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the risk appetite. Design, implement, maintain and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk on an ongoing basis. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management. Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the organizational brand.

Maintain internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable. Complete other related duties as assigned.

## What You Bring:

A bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in business and technology transformation programs, product management, or project management. Equivalent experience of 10 years, including 6 years in relevant roles, will also be considered.

Proven expertise applying program governance frameworks, methodologies, and tools to deliver measurable outcomes in large-scale transformation programs. A recognized certification (e.g., PMP, SAFe, Agile, or related certification).

A track record of leading enterprise-level, high-impact change initiatives in large organizations, with clear evidence of driving business value. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling messages and influence stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.

A natural ability to adapt and lead through ambiguity, bringing clarity, confidence and creativity to evolving situations and shifting priorities. A mindset that embraces transformation as opportunity, with the resilience and flexibility to pivot, reframe challenges and guide others through uncertainty.

## Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

While not required, the following qualifications and experience will help you thrive and lead with even greater influence:

Experience coaching or developing talent, including mentoring junior practitioners or enabling non-experts to perform transformation activities confidently and successfully. Experience collaborating with customer experience, UX, or human-centered design teams to create change strategies that are empathetic, user-informed, and adoption-ready.

Proficiency in collaboration and transparency tools such as Jira, Miro, Target Process, or Trello, tools that support agile ways of working and cross-functional alignment. Exceptional problem-solving and strategic thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to connect dots across systems, teams, and initiatives.

Industry experience in banking or financial services, including a strong understanding of the regulatory, operational, and organizational dynamics that influence transformation success. Strong business acumen, with the ability to anticipate organizational challenges and design strategies that drive measurable outcomes.

Experience with people leadership responsibilities, including performance management, resource planning, recruitment, and mentoring, whether formally or through matrixed team structures.
