GENERAL FUNCTION:
The Senior Credit Administration Analyst is accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and following policies and procedures as defined. This role ensures actions and behaviors align with the bank's commitment to doing the right thing for customers and colleagues while operating within the bank's risk appetite.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Independently serves as the primary point of contact for complex renewals, reviews, and portfolio monitoring activities. Review financial statements and credit requests, identify gaps or inconsistencies, and obtain additional information needed to support credit decisions. Build and manage facility renewals and reviews in nCino in preparation for underwriting and approval. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and organization of credit documentation within nCino, DocMan, and FileNet. Perform and validate Borrowing Entity PD Ratings and Obligation LGD Ratings in accordance with policy. Proactively monitor covenants and portfolio risks, identifying and escalating emerging issues or trends. Prepare pipeline, portfolio, and ad hoc reporting for Credit Leadership and internal partners. Serve as an informal resource to Credit Administration Analysts by providing guidance and sharing best practices. Identify process improvement opportunities and escalate recommendations to leadership.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
May provide informal guidance or mentoring to Credit Administration Analysts.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field preferred. Minimum of three years of credit analysis, loan review, or credit administration experience, preferably in banking. Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex work and exercise sound judgment. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with nCino and internal systems preferred.
