A large Northeast regional bank is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to perform complex systems analysis, design, and development.
Position Overview:
The Senior Software Engineer will direct and monitor resources, coordinating tasks on projects. This role involves preparing and managing technical components of project plans and collaborating with teams in systems development from analysis to testing. The position evaluates and analyzes interrelationships among programs, applications, and platforms while providing analytical consulting and identifying new uses of technology to meet strategic objectives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Perform complex systems analysis, design, and development
* Direct and monitor resources, coordinating tasks on projects
* Prepare and manage technical components of project plans
* Collaborate with teams in systems development from analysis to testing
* Evaluate and analyze interrelationships among programs, applications, and platforms
* Provide analytical consulting, identifying new uses of technology to meet strategic objectives
* Prepare clear technical specifications and update documentation
* Review and assess project tasks, time frames, and effort
* Ensure efficient operation of supported applications
* Recommend new technology, policies, or processes for improvement
* Follow and promote development standards and procedures
* Maintain internal control standards and address audit points and regulatory issues
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or a related technical field
* Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, Application Development Analyst, or related occupation
Required Experience:
Three (3) years of experience in each of the following:
* Developing Salesforce Applications using the following tools: APEX, LWC, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
* Experience with the nCino managed package in Salesforce
* Software Test Management and Designing Test Plans for Unit Test and Front-End Test Automation
One (1) year of experience in the following:
* RESTful API Design & Development: Java and Springboot
* Object Oriented Software Design utilizing SOLID principles
* Mentoring and guiding junior level engineers
