Data Migration Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Migration Specialist to support a leading regional bank in its legacy system migration and upgrade project. This role is crucial for ensuring a seamless transition of critical banking data to modern systems, leveraging advanced technologies like Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), Oracle Cloud, and Mulesoft to enhance the bank’s operational efficiency and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead data migration efforts for legacy system upgrades, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement migration strategies using Mulesoft and Oracle-based tools.
• Perform data mapping, validation, and testing to ensure seamless integration with the new FIS IBS core banking system.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues during the migration process, providing timely resolutions.
• Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and contribute to project documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• Senior-level experience in data migration and system integration projects.
• Expertise in Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), Oracle Cloud, and Mulesoft.
• Strong knowledge of FIS IBS core banking systems.
• Proficiency in English for effective communication across teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience working on consulting projects with a focus on legacy system migrations.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to ensure data integrity.
• Familiarity with remote project execution and collaboration tools.

Contract Details:

• 6-month contract with a competitive hourly rate of $105-$115.
