About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Functional Consultant to join a branch-based retail bank in New York. This role is critical to the configuration and customization of the Fiserv DNA Core Banking System to enhance the bank’s product offerings and customer experiences. The position requires extensive knowledge of core banking systems, product configuration, and customization to support the bank’s growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and technical teams to gather requirements for core banking product configurations and customizations.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for the Fiserv DNA platform.
  • Design and implement product configurations, enhancements, and customizations in the core banking system.
  • Conduct functional testing and validation to ensure accurate implementation of product changes.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, configuration guides, and test cases.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other banking systems.
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and provide training to end-users and business teams.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant in core banking systems configuration and customization.
  • Expertise in Fiserv DNA Core Banking System is required.
  • Strong understanding of banking products, including deposits, loans, and digital channels.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish for effective communication with global teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with integration of core banking systems with digital banking solutions.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and product management frameworks.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
