A specialty community bank serving US military families is seeking an experienced Banking Solutions Product Director to lead strategic product initiatives and drive innovation in their digital banking portfolio. This role is critical in shaping core banking transformation efforts, delivering customer-centric solutions, and aligning product strategy with the unique needs of military-affiliated clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for core banking solutions
  • Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept through launch and optimization
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, operations, and business stakeholders
  • Develop business cases and ROI analyses for product initiatives
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure product performance and success
  • Manage and prioritize product backlog based on business value and customer impact
  • Present product strategy and updates to senior leadership
  • Drive product adoption and customer engagement across segments
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Lead and mentor product management teams

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 8+ years of product management experience in banking or financial services
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing product teams
  • Deep understanding of banking operations, products, and regulatory environment
  • Proven success launching and scaling digital banking products
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Proficiency in product management and analytics tools
  • Fluency in English required

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with core banking systems and digital banking platforms
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and blockchain
  • Experience with API integrations and platform ecosystems
  • Understanding of UX/UI and customer-centered design principles
  • Background in consulting or strategic advisory roles
  • Experience supporting long-term core banking transformation initiatives
