A major global bank is seeking a Program Manager to lead and manage large-scale initiatives across its enterprise, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and adherence to established PMO frameworks. This role is critical in driving end-to-end program execution, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering complex transformation efforts within a global financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead execution of strategic initiatives across the full program lifecycle, from planning through delivery
- Translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions and operational processes
- Manage cross-functional programs across multiple business units and legal entities
- Ensure delivery of target-state processes, governance structures, and controls
- Develop and maintain program plans, RAID logs, and status reporting
- Facilitate working groups and stakeholder meetings to drive execution and alignment
- Coordinate UAT activities, including defect tracking and resolution
- Provide regular updates and reporting to senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Oversee program resources, including third-party vendors
- Mentor and develop team members within program and change management functions
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience delivering complex, cross-functional programs within large financial institutions
- Strong understanding of finance, risk, operations, and data processes
- Experience with regulatory change management and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of financial products such as loans, derivatives, securities, and repurchase agreements
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to develop high-performing teams
- Exceptional stakeholder management across multiple functions and organizational levels
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Expertise in program management methodologies and tools
- Ability to operate effectively in multicultural and global environments
- Fluency in English required
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working within global PMO frameworks and governance models
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches
- Experience managing enterprise-wide transformation or regulatory programs
- Knowledge of JIRA and other program management tools
- Background in financial services consulting or advisory roles
- Experience supporting long-term enterprise transformation initiatives
