A large Southeast regional bank is seeking a strategic leader to serve as Business Transformation Principal, responsible for driving large-scale transformation initiatives across the organization. This role is critical in shaping and delivering enterprise transformation programs that align with strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will act as a change agent, partnering with senior executives to influence direction, challenge the status quo, and deliver measurable business outcomes across strategy, technology, and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, guiding complex transformation initiatives and delivering measurable outcomes
- Develop and execute enterprise transformation strategies aligned with organizational objectives
- Provide thought leadership to identify opportunities and deliver high-impact solutions that drive business value
- Lead change initiatives across the organization, partnering with executive leadership and senior management
- Manage cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of transformation programs
- Develop and enhance enterprise processes, policies, systems, and tools related to program management
- Ensure adherence to governance frameworks and enterprise program guidelines
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of innovation and inclusivity
- Drive adoption and sustainability by guiding programs through the people side of transformation
- Align stakeholders and ensure consistent communication across all levels of the organization
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration with 8+ years of transformation or project management experienceOR
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field with 10+ years of transformation or project management experience
- Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives
- Strong expertise in strategy, technology, operations, and change management
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and drive organizational change
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Preferred Skills:
- Experience within regional banking or financial services environments
- Background in enterprise program management and governance frameworks
- Experience leading digital transformation or operational modernization initiatives
