A US bank is seeking an Enterprise Architecture Solutions Architect at the Senior Vice President level to lead architectural and engineering activities across the enterprise. This role is critical in shaping enterprise-wide technology strategy, designing scalable and sustainable platforms, and solving complex, multi-dimensional business challenges. The ideal candidate will bring deep financial services expertise and a strong passion for architectural simplification, innovation, and long-term platform sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead enterprise-wide architectural and engineering initiatives across multiple business lines
- Analyze functional requirements and develop comprehensive, scalable solution designs
- Evaluate multiple architectural options and present comparative analysis with recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Apply deep financial services domain knowledge to solve complex business and technology challenges
- Drive architectural simplification and standardization across the enterprise
- Design and deliver sustainable, future-ready platforms that support long-term growth
- Develop and maintain architectural artifacts including solution diagrams, models, and frameworks
- Collaborate with operations, product, and application development teams across the organization
- Identify and execute opportunities for efficiency gains, improved controls, and scalable solutions
- Lead the design of enterprise-wide solutions leveraging business, technical, data, and solution architecture disciplines
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in enterprise architecture and solutions design at a senior level
- Deep domain knowledge of financial services and banking operations
- Proven track record of driving architectural simplification and modernization initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to address complex, multi-dimensional challenges
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience engaging senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and deliver results in large-scale environments
- Experience working across multiple business functions and technology teams
Preferred Skills:
- Experience leading enterprise-wide architecture transformation programs
- Familiarity with modern architecture frameworks, cloud platforms, and distributed systems
- Strong background in data architecture and enterprise data platforms
