A tier-one global bank is seeking a Lead Technical Program Manager to leverage deep technical expertise and leadership to guide cutting-edge projects, fostering growth and innovation in a dynamic environment. This role is critical in driving the delivery of complex, high-impact payments platform initiatives, including real-time payments and next-generation solutions. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in aligning product strategy with execution, ensuring seamless integration across systems, and delivering scalable, industry-leading payment capabilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of payments platform programs from strategy through execution and post-launch analysis
  • Lead delivery of complex, high-impact payments solutions including Real-Time Payments and next-generation platforms
  • Develop and maintain detailed program plans, timelines, and governance structures
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across product, engineering, operations, and business teams
  • Translate business objectives into actionable technical requirements and solution designs
  • Partner with product owners, engineers, and architects to ensure seamless platform integration and interoperability
  • Establish governance frameworks aligned with regulatory, risk, and industry standards
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, ensuring successful program delivery
  • Prepare and present executive-level updates, dashboards, and status reports
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and external partners
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement across payments platform capabilities

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, leading complex technology initiatives
  • Strong expertise in payments platforms, including real-time payments and clearing/settlement systems
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end delivery of large-scale, cross-functional programs
  • Deep understanding of technical architecture, APIs, and system integration
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level communication
  • Experience working in highly regulated financial services environments
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in commercial or investment banking environments
  • Knowledge of payment networks, exchange systems, and financial messaging standards
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Experience driving product strategy and lifecycle management
  • Background in large-scale platform transformation or modernization initiatives
  • Experience supporting long-term enterprise payments transformation programs
