A tier-one global bank is seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Architecture Solutions Architect, Senior Vice President to join its technology organization. This strategic leadership role is responsible for defining and driving enterprise-wide architecture vision, modernization strategies, and scalable technology solutions that support critical business initiatives.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud transformation, and modern application design while collaborating closely with executive stakeholders, engineering teams, and business leaders to deliver innovative and secure enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, establish, and communicate enterprise architecture standards, design patterns, governance frameworks, and best practices.
- Lead the architecture and implementation of large-scale, enterprise technology solutions across multiple business domains.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate strategic objectives and requirements into scalable technical architectures.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations on their applicability and value to enterprise initiatives.
- Drive cloud modernization and digital transformation strategies across enterprise platforms and applications.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure alignment and consistency of architectural solutions across enterprise programs and technology initiatives.
- Conduct architecture reviews, identify optimization opportunities, and recommend improvements for scalability, performance, and resiliency.
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture documentation including reference architectures, solution designs, technical standards, and implementation guidelines.
- Partner with infrastructure, security, operations, and compliance teams to ensure solutions meet enterprise technical, operational, and regulatory requirements.
- Support API strategy, integration architecture, data management, and event-driven architecture initiatives.
- Promote adoption of Agile, DevOps, and cloud-native engineering practices across technology teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or senior technical leadership roles.
- Strong expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar methodologies.
- Extensive hands-on experience with major cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Deep understanding of modern application architectures including microservices, APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise data architecture, integration patterns, middleware platforms, and analytics ecosystems.
- Proven success leading enterprise-scale technology transformation and modernization initiatives.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
- Ability to influence technical strategy and drive alignment across complex, matrixed organizations.
- Experience within financial services or highly regulated enterprise environments preferred.

- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience designing and managing enterprise API ecosystems and integration platforms.
