For over 30 years, Ben has been at the forefront of enterprise technology delivery in financial services, spanning application development, operations management and regulatory transformation. With a background in both engineering and executive leadership, he’s led large-scale technology programs at institutions like Citibank and Bank Leumi, ensuring critical systems run smoothly, securely and cost-effectively.

At Citibank, Ben served as Application Development Director, overseeing more than 60 applications supporting Core Banking, customer communications, check processing, regulatory reporting and operational automation. He’s managed distributed teams across the U.S. and offshore hubs, led multiple data center migrations and drove cost savings exceeding $10 million annually through vendor renegotiations and operational streamlining.

His focus areas include legacy platform modernization, item processing, KYC and compliance operations and enterprise print and document management. At Bank Leumi, Ben played a critical role in the bank’s re-automation program and core banking replacement effort, shaping system strategies and driving vendor fit-gap analysis for solutions like Temenos and Oracle Financials.

At Core System Partners, Ben helps banks navigate the operational side of digital transformation, especially where back-office complexity, legacy systems and regulatory pressures collide. Whether it’s standing up a test strategy, renegotiating vendor contracts or managing post-implementation support, Ben brings structure, calm and proven insight.

Ben holds advanced degrees in Applied Mathematics and began his career as a research associate at NASA. When he’s not managing technology portfolios, you’ll likely find him analyzing political trends or deep in conversation about economic history, with a knack for making the complex seem simple.
