A US credit union is seeking a Senior Third Party Risk Management Analyst to join its team.

Location: Hybrid – New York, NY

The Senior Third Party Risk Management Analyst will play a critical role in managing and mitigating risks associated with third party relationships. This position requires a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements, risk assessment methodologies, and vendor management best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of third party vendors and service providers
  • Evaluate vendor controls, security practices, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Monitor ongoing vendor performance and risk profiles throughout the vendor lifecycle
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure proper due diligence is performed on new and existing vendors
  • Review and analyze vendor contracts, service level agreements, and other documentation
  • Prepare detailed risk reports and presentations for senior management and committees
  • Track and report on key risk indicators and metrics related to third party relationships
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations including FFIEC guidance, GLBA, and other relevant standards
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of third party risk management policies and procedures
  • Coordinate vendor audits and assessments as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records within the vendor management system

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in third party risk management, vendor management, or related risk function within financial services
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to third party risk
  • Experience conducting vendor risk assessments and due diligence reviews
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly
  • Proficiency with vendor management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Professional certifications such as CRCM, CRISC, or similar credentials preferred

Compensation: $105K/yr – $120K/yr
