Business Analyst / Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Functional Consultant to contribute to a regulatory compliance-driven enhancement project for a smaller community bank. This role involves drafting detailed business requirements and ensuring the successful execution of compliance initiatives related to a Matters Requiring Attention (MRA) notice. You will play a key role in collaborating with compliance, operations, and QA teams to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Project Manager, Compliance, and Operations teams to draft detailed business requirements.
• Document comprehensive requirements and collaborate with QA leads to develop test plans and test cases.
• Support the execution of test plans through various testing cycles.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and MRA compliance objectives.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and contribute to the overall success of the project.

Required Qualifications:

• Senior-level experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant in the banking or financial sector.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks and experience with MRA-related initiatives.
• Proficiency in English with excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with FIS Profile core banking systems.

• Demonstrated ability to manage compliance-driven projects and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality documentation.
• Experience working in a hybrid environment and balancing onsite and remote responsibilities.
