A US regional bank is seeking a Change Delivery Manager to provide oversight and leadership for a portfolio of strategic initiatives. This role is critical in ensuring programs are executed effectively, aligned with enterprise standards, and support the overall objectives of the business unit. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams, drive delivery excellence, and ensure strong governance, risk management, and stakeholder alignment across all initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Oversight & Execution
- Oversee and monitor the health of the project portfolio, including intake, planning, business readiness, and execution
- Ensure initiatives are delivered in alignment with strategic objectives and enterprise standards
- Contribute to short- and long-term prioritization and planning across the portfolio
Leadership & Team Management
- Provide direct leadership to internal and external teams delivering project management, business analysis, and business readiness activities
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and results-driven team culture
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Engage with Risk and Compliance partners to ensure adherence to enterprise governance frameworks
- Oversee project documentation and ensure appropriate traceability of artifacts
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the portfolio
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Establish and maintain relationships with key business and technology leaders
- Provide portfolio-level dashboards, reporting, and executive summaries
- Ensure clear communication of program status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate planning and execution across multiple business units and initiatives
- Ensure alignment with broader enterprise programs and dependencies
- Drive collaboration across teams to support successful delivery outcomes
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience leading program or portfolio delivery within financial services or regulated industries
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex project portfolios
- Strong understanding of governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in banking or financial services transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with enterprise PMO frameworks and portfolio management practices
- Experience working with Risk and Compliance teams
- Strong ability to drive change management and organizational transformation
- Experience supporting large-scale, multi-project delivery environments
