We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst / Data Modeler to support a top-tier U.S.-Regional Bank through a large-scale data management and integration program. This role plays a vital part in ensuring data quality, structure, and usability across multiple business domains, contributing to the modernization of core banking processes. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and adept at converting complex data requirements into actionable models and reports.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex data sets across core banking functions to derive insights and validate assumptions.
  • Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business and IT initiatives.
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to define data flows, transformations, and governance requirements.
  • Translate business data requirements into high-quality documentation and clear technical specifications.
  • Support data mapping activities for integration projects, including source-to-target mappings and lineage documentation.
  • Validate data accuracy and consistency across systems, identifying gaps or discrepancies in reporting layers.
  • Work closely with QA teams to ensure data deliverables meet quality standards and functional requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Seniority Level: Senior-level (7+ years of relevant experience).
  • Proven experience as a Data AnalystData Modeler, or Data Engineer within financial services, preferably supporting banking transformation or modernization projects.
  • Familiarity with core banking platforms, data warehousing concepts, and enterprise data architecture.
  • Proficiency in tools such as SQL, Excel, ER/Studio, Erwin, or equivalent data modeling software.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across business, architecture, and technical teams.
  • Language Requirement: English fluency (spoken and written).
  • Bank Type: Regional Bank (U.S.-based).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with data conversion, migration, and reconciliation initiatives.
  • Understanding of core system integration with legacy and modern platforms.
  • Familiarity with data quality tools and practices.
  • Exposure to regulatory and compliance reporting data structures is a plus.
  • Experience working within Agile or hybrid project environments.

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid – Remote work with occasional onsite collaboration as needed.

United States – Eastern Time Zone preferred.
