Data Modeler / Data Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Modeler / Data Architect to join a global commercial bank in its efforts to implement a new core banking system. This pivotal role focuses on designing, integrating, and managing complex data models and architectures critical to the successful implementation of the new core. Your expertise will directly impact the bank’s ability to innovate and meet evolving market demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain scalable and efficient data models for the new core banking system implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and manage ETL pipelines, APIs, and integration processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including GDPR, SOX, and Basel III.
• Conduct data quality assessments and implement strategies to maintain data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

• Senior-level experience in data modeling and architecture within the banking or financial services domain.
• Proficiency in Oracle Database, MySQL, and SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of core banking systems, specifically Systematics Core Banking System.
• In-depth knowledge of data integration processes, ETL pipelines, and API development.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards such as GDPR, SOX, and Basel III.
• Proficiency in English for effective communication with diverse teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in consulting roles for large-scale core banking system implementations.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement, collaborating effectively both onsite and remotely.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
