A leading commercial bank headquartered in New Jersey, with operations in Ohio, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead a complex divestiture of two business divisions. This critical role involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and post-sale integration. The ideal candidate must possess deep expertise in core banking systems (Systematics), structured data migration, and regulatory compliance while managing stakeholder communications at all organizational levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute the end-to-end divestiture process, ensuring a seamless transition.
- Manage the migration of Systematics core banking data while maintaining data integrity.
- Oversee handling of structured (core system data) and unstructured data (physical archives, telephony data).
- Work closely with regulatory and compliance teams to ensure adherence to U.S. and foreign banking regulations.
- Collaborate with IT, legal, and operations teams to develop workflows for transition tasks.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including timelines, risk mitigation plans, and compliance records.
- Provide regular progress updates and present reports to C-level executives and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in banking, with a strong background in managing divestitures or large-scale projects.
- Deep expertise with Systematics core banking systems and related data management.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks, particularly those involving foreign bank transactions.
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Proficiency in data migration and integration, covering both structured and unstructured datasets.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with experience handling complex project timelines and competing priorities.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with SQL, ETL processes, and data migration frameworks.
- Experience managing physical and digital document archives.
- Expertise in integrating and documenting telecommunication data during transitions.
