About the Role:
A leading commercial bank is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee a critical divestiture initiative. This role will play a strategic part in separating core banking infrastructure, data, and operations, ensuring minimal disruption to business continuity. You will work in a hybrid setting with cross-functional teams to lead the planning and execution of the divestiture process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full lifecycle of the bank’s divestiture project, including scope definition, timeline planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Manage all phases of system separation, with a focus on structured data within Systematics core banking system.
- Coordinate with IT, legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure seamless transitions.
- Oversee data migration efforts, including validating frameworks and processes for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) critical datasets.
- Support integration of telephony systems and documentation of changes across digital and physical archives.
- Deliver project milestones on time and within budget while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications:
- Senior-level project management experience in banking, with a proven track record leading divestiture or transformation programs.
- Strong knowledge of Systematics core banking platforms.
- Excellent command of English for executive-level communication and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience working in a hybrid environment and coordinating geographically distributed teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of data management tools such as SQL, ETL tools, and data migration frameworks.
- Familiarity with document management systems for managing digital and physical content across transitions.
- Experience with telephony systems and documenting communications infrastructure during system handovers.
- Prior success managing multi-stakeholder divestiture initiatives over extended project durations (12+ months).
