A US bank is seeking an Enterprise Architecture Solutions Architect at the Vice President level to lead architectural and engineering activities across its enterprise operations technology organization. This role is critical in designing and delivering enterprise-wide solutions that support a global financial institution serving millions of customers across more than 160 countries. The ideal candidate will drive architectural innovation, simplify complex systems, and build scalable, future-ready platforms that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural and engineering initiatives across enterprise operations technology
- Analyze functional requirements and develop comprehensive, scalable solution designs
- Evaluate solution options and present comparative analysis with recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Apply deep financial services domain knowledge to solve complex, multi-dimensional business problems
- Drive architectural simplification and modernization across platforms and systems
- Design and deliver sustainable, high-performance, and future-ready technology solutions
- Develop and maintain architectural artifacts, frameworks, and design standards
- Collaborate with operations, product, and application development teams across the enterprise
- Identify opportunities for efficiency gains, enhanced controls, and scalable architecture solutions
- Contribute to enterprise-wide architecture strategy leveraging business, technical, and data architecture disciplines
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in enterprise architecture and solution design within financial services
- Strong understanding of complex banking operations and global technology environments
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale architectural solutions
- Expertise in architecture frameworks, governance, and best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including senior leadership interaction
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, simplification, and scalable design
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting enterprise operations technology in large global banks
- Familiarity with modern architecture patterns, cloud platforms, and distributed systems
- Strong background in data architecture and enterprise data platforms
- Experience defining governance models, standards, and reusable architecture patterns
