About the Role:

A large regional U.S. bank is undergoing a major core transformation initiative and is seeking a Senior Enterprise Data Architect to lead the design and deployment of a canonical data model to support Fiserv DNA migration and enterprise data modernization. This role is critical to ensuring semantic consistency, regulatory data readiness, and scalable data architecture across the enterprise. The Architect will serve as a strategic bridge between data governance, core systems, and business leadership, driving both conceptual and implementation-level design.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of a canonical data model in alignment with core banking transformation goals.
  • Develop semantic models and mappings to support consistent data interpretation across platforms.
  • Align data architecture with Fiserv DNA core system schemas and standards.
  • Facilitate collaboration across enterprise functions, including compliance, IT, operations, and digital teams.
  • Deliver conceptual modelslogical/physical schemas, and blueprint documents for enterprise data platforms.
  • Define data lineage and metadata practices using tools such as Collibra and Informatica.
  • Ensure integration architectures meet regulatory and operational performance standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Senior-level expertise in data architecture and enterprise modeling.
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise-wide data initiatives in the banking sector.
  • Deep working knowledge of Fiserv DNA data schemas and core banking transformation practices.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as BCBS 239 and FDIC data call readiness.
  • Fluency in English and authorization to work in the U.S. (U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders only).
  • Proficient in ER modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, SAP PowerDesigner).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with canonical data modelingsemantic layer design, and integration frameworks.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration across legacy platforms, digital systems, and compliance teams.
  • Knowledge of other core platforms (e.g., FIS, Temenos, Jack Henry) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with metadata lineage practices and tools.
  • Background in supporting digital and operational modernization programs.

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite (Long Island or Manhattan)

New York Metro Area preferred (Must be available for regular onsite work)
