A major national bank is seeking a Lead Product Manager to join the Core Banking Modernization team within Consumer Banking and Lending. This role leads product plans, influences strategy, and collaborates with stakeholders to support the transformation of account ledger and transaction processing capabilities — the foundational systems that power how the bank manages customer information, accounts, transactions, and applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead product plans, influence strategy, and collaborate with stakeholders to support core banking modernization efforts.
- Review and analyze digital strategy for account ledger and transaction processing capabilities.
- Influence product direction and cross-functional strategy by evaluating multiple technical and business factors.
- Make product decisions that balance customer impact, operational needs, and policy or compliance requirements.
- Oversee products and solutions that service the core banking modernization journey.
- Collaborate with and influence business partners and leaders to drive core banking modernization for the enterprise.
- Shape the foundational systems that power how the bank manages customer information, accounts, transactions, and applications.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of digital product management experience or equivalent.
- Experience delivering within Agile frameworks and using tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
- Experience supporting core banking modernization or enterprise technology transformation.
- Knowledge of account ledger, posting logic, transaction flows, or ledger system architecture.
- Experience in real-time systems, microservices, or event-driven design.
- Experience working in financial services or highly regulated environments.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid — 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.
