This role is vital to ensuring the successful consolidation of multiple loan platforms, the smooth migration of loan data, and the effective alignment of operational processes across the merged entities. You will drive key project milestones in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. The project manager must have experience in managing commercial banking projects, specifically and lending preferably has experience with ACBS, change management and managing the role out of new operating model. Will report to the head of Loan Ops. 2 days onsite, 3 offiste but may vary as project gets closer to implementation.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the loans integration workstream, including planning, tracking, and execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, technology, compliance) to align requirements and manage deliverables.
- Coordinate vendor activities, system migrations, and testing efforts related to loan servicing platforms.
- Develop detailed project plans, risk mitigation strategies, and executive-level status reports.
- Oversee data migration and reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Manage stakeholder communications and escalate risks or roadblocks to leadership proactively.
- 8+ years of project management experience, with a strong focus on loan servicing systems and banking integrations.
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale lending platform migrations or consolidations.
- Solid understanding of loan products and servicing operations (consumer, commercial, mortgage).
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects in regulated environments.
- Strong command of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, ClickUp, Jira) and methodologies.
- PMP certification or equivalent.
- Experience with loan platforms such as Fiserv, Jack Henry, FIS, or similar.
- Familiarity with data governance, regulatory reporting, and operational risk in banking mergers.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and vendor management skills.
- 12-month consulting contract
- Competitive hourly rate: Dependent on Experience (DOE)
