Our client, a financial institution, is seeking an experienced Product Manager at the Senior Manager level to drive strategic product initiatives and deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs and business objectives. This role is critical in shaping product strategy within a central banking environment, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and delivering impactful, customer-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to guide product decisions
- Develop product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to prioritize features and manage product backlogs
- Lead Agile product development processes including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Monitor KPIs and product performance to identify opportunities for improvement
- Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate progress to senior leadership
- Drive go-to-market strategies and coordinate product launches
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Mentor and guide junior product team members
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 7+ years of product management experience, preferably within financial services
- Proven track record managing products across the full lifecycle
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and product development practices
- Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with product management tools and platforms
- Deep understanding of customer-centered design principles
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities
- Fluency in English required
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in digital banking, payments, or financial technology
- Knowledge of financial services regulatory environments
- Certifications in Product Management or Agile methodologies
- Experience working in matrixed organizations
- Technical background or ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams
