A tier-one global bank is seeking a Program Management Lead to support the planning, coordination, and execution of complex programs and portfolios. This role is critical in ensuring strong governance, risk management, and alignment across business and technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep program management expertise, enabling efficient delivery while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and enterprise policies.


Key Responsibilities:

Program Planning & Coordination

  • Support planning and day-to-day coordination of program or portfolio activities
  • Ensure program plans, charters, and deliverables align with business objectives
  • Assist in developing and maintaining program documentation, including stakeholder, benefits, and acceptance plans

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Embed program governance frameworks to enable effective and timely delivery
  • Assess, track, and escalate program risks, ensuring mitigation strategies are implemented
  • Maintain program issue logs, KPIs, and RAID reporting for transparency and performance tracking
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk frameworks

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Identify and engage stakeholders across business units and functions
  • Facilitate communication, coordination, and decision-making across cross-functional teams
  • Coordinate governance forums to support stakeholder alignment and issue resolution

Program Execution & Delivery Support

  • Assist in delivering complex projects and ensuring smooth implementation processes
  • Monitor progress against milestones, deliverables, and schedules
  • Review workstream plans to identify process improvements and optimization opportunities
  • Support procurement activities including contract creation, administration, and closure

Continuous Improvement & Standards

  • Contribute to defining and improving program management standards and procedures
  • Apply lessons learned and best practices to enhance delivery outcomes
  • Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and operational excellence

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Financial Services, Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience supporting development and implementation of financial services applications
  • Strong expertise in program governance, risk management, and project delivery frameworks
  • Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with governance metrics such as KPIs, RAID logs, and status reporting
  • Familiarity with financial services systems and application development processes
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional governance forums and stakeholder alignment
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance environments
  • Ability to identify process improvements and drive optimization initiatives
  • Experience supporting enterprise transformation or large-scale program delivery
