A tier-one global bank is seeking a Program Management Senior Lead at the SVP level to provide strategic leadership across a portfolio of complex programs. This role is critical in driving enterprise-wide initiatives, aligning program execution with business objectives, and delivering measurable outcomes in a highly dynamic and regulated environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep program management expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

Program Strategy & Leadership

  • Lead planning, direction, and coordination of large-scale programs or portfolios
  • Define and align multiple programs of work with strategic business objectives
  • Partner with Program Sponsors to ensure business cases and cost-benefit analyses align with goals
  • Provide authoritative guidance on program execution and operational strategy

Governance, Risk & Execution Oversight

  • Establish and enforce program governance frameworks, processes, and standards
  • Ensure creation and approval of program artifacts including charters, plans, and stakeholder frameworks
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues
  • Oversee funding, staffing, and resource allocation to support program delivery

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Identify key stakeholders and build strong relationships across business and technology functions
  • Lead communication of program status, risks, and issues to senior leadership
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment and decision-making across complex initiatives
  • Influence and negotiate with stakeholders to drive program success

Cross-Functional Coordination & Delivery

  • Lead coordination of macro-level topics across programs and functional areas
  • Resolve issues that extend beyond individual programs or teams
  • Ensure alignment across multiple workstreams, teams, and organizational units
  • Drive adherence to program delivery standards and continuous improvement practices

Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage teams or functional areas, including resource allocation and performance management
  • Mentor and guide program teams to ensure high-quality delivery
  • Foster collaboration, accountability, and execution excellence across teams

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in program management within large, complex organizations
  • Proven ability to lead enterprise-scale programs or portfolios
  • Strong understanding of program governance, risk management, and delivery frameworks
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and drive alignment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex resource structures

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience within tier-one global banking or financial services environments
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Experience leading regulatory, compliance, or transformation initiatives
  • Strong understanding of enterprise portfolio management practices
  • Ability to adapt to emerging trends and apply them within program management frameworks
  • Experience supporting long-term enterprise transformation programs
