A tier-one global bank is seeking an experienced Program Manager – Finance Solutions to lead strategic finance transformation initiatives focused on enhancing finance systems, operational processes, and enterprise solutions. This role is critical in driving modernization efforts across finance functions through technology, automation, data optimization, and process improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of program management expertise, finance systems knowledge, and strategic consulting capabilities to help business leaders execute complex transformation initiatives in a highly regulated banking environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of finance transformation initiatives involving technology modernization, process optimization, and automation programs.
  • Oversee end-to-end project delivery including project planning, business analysis, testing coordination, operational readiness, and execution governance.
  • Partner closely with Finance leadership, Technology teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to define and execute strategic roadmaps.
  • Translate business objectives and problem statements into actionable project plans and scalable solution strategies.
  • Drive initiatives across finance data, systems, and operational domains while ensuring compliance with enterprise policies and governance standards.
  • Facilitate decision-making by advising senior stakeholders on risks, trade-offs, dependencies, and execution approaches.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and modernize finance capabilities across the organization.
  • Manage stakeholder communications, project reporting, status tracking, and executive-level updates.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams within matrixed environments to ensure successful delivery of complex initiatives.
  • Support implementation of emerging technologies and automation solutions that improve finance operations and efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to project governance frameworks, timelines, and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing complex Finance transformation or enterprise program initiatives within banking or financial services environments.
  • Strong understanding of finance systems, enterprise data solutions, and operational finance processes.
  • Experience leading projects involving technology implementation, process transformation, or automation initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across matrixed organizations without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Experience managing project governance, risk management, and delivery execution frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting enterprise Finance modernization or digital transformation programs.
  • Familiarity with finance platforms, enterprise reporting systems, and data management solutions.
  • Exposure to automation technologies, AI-enabled solutions, or emerging finance technologies.
  • Consulting background or experience advising senior business leaders on strategic initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid program delivery methodologies.
  • Strong process improvement and organizational change management experience.
  • Experience working on long-term, enterprise-scale transformation initiatives within regulated industries.
