A US bank is seeking a talented Program Manager II to drive operational excellence and deliver programmatic success across its money movement and payment processing business unit. This role is critical in leading complex program management initiatives, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced, evolving financial services environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead program execution within a matrixed organization, ensuring alignment with business and operational goals
  • Drive operational excellence across payment processing and money movement initiatives
  • Develop and manage program strategies, workstreams, and execution plans
  • Mentor and support junior program managers, fostering team growth and consistency
  • Communicate program strategy, progress, and risks to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Represent program management in cross-functional discussions and decision-making forums
  • Identify risks and proactively mitigate potential execution challenges
  • Develop and maintain program documentation, dashboards, KPIs, and executive reports
  • Define and track key performance indicators to measure program success
  • Ensure consistent communication plans for program updates, issues, and risk management
  • Drive continuous improvement in program management processes and standards

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in program management within financial services or related industries
  • Strong understanding of operational processes, particularly in payments or money movement
  • Ability to lead programs independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience developing and managing KPIs and performance metrics
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities simultaneously
  • Fluency in English required

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in payment processing, fintech, or banking operations
  • Background in enterprise program management within matrixed organizations
  • Experience developing executive-level communications and dashboards
  • Familiarity with process improvement and operational optimization initiatives
  • Experience supporting long-term program management and transformation initiatives
