A US custody bank is seeking a Vice President to provide leadership and delivery oversight for large-scale transformation initiatives within the Payments, Cash, and Custody (PCC) program across Global Delivery. This role is critical in driving execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities, and delivering operational and technology transformation outcomes in a highly regulated financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership & Execution
- Provide leadership and accountability for assigned PCC initiatives and value streams
- Drive execution of PCC strategy across Global Delivery, ensuring alignment to business priorities and outcomes
- Oversee delivery of large-scale, multi-year transformation programs
Governance & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as an escalation point for delivery risks, dependencies, and resource challenges
- Represent Global Delivery in governance forums, steering committees, and senior leadership meetings
- Partner with Technology and Product teams to align delivery with business and operational needs
Business Readiness & Transformation
- Oversee business readiness activities including testing, training, migration, and stabilization
- Ensure smooth transition from implementation to operational execution
- Support operating model transformation and platform migration initiatives
Risk, Compliance & Controls
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, risk, and control frameworks
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues
- Maintain alignment with enterprise governance and compliance standards
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience leading complex, multi-year transformation or technology programs
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive execution
- Experience with operating model design, platform migrations, and business readiness activities
- Strong understanding of business analysis principles and large-scale solution delivery
- Experience within custody, payments, cash management, or related financial services operations
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working within global custody or asset servicing organizations
- Familiarity with enterprise program governance and PMO frameworks
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in financial services
- Experience supporting enterprise transformation initiatives
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on program execution
