A tier-one global bank is seeking a Project Manager to join its TCIO Innovation Team at the Vice President level.
Location: On-site – Newark, DE
This role offers the opportunity to drive strategic technology initiatives within a dynamic innovation-focused environment. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading cross-functional projects that advance the organization’s technology capabilities and support critical business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex technology projects from initiation through delivery
- Coordinate with stakeholders across multiple business units and technology teams
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
- Drive continuous improvement in project management methodologies and practices
- Prepare and present status reports to senior leadership
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party resources as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience managing technology projects in a large enterprise environment
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with project management tools and software
- PMP, Agile, or similar project management certification preferred
- Financial services industry experience strongly preferred
