Our client, a major U.S.-based commercial bank, is undergoing a critical M&A-driven core banking data conversion project. We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with deep domain expertise in Hogan systems to support data conversion analysis, reconciliation, and validation efforts. This role is vital to ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and traceability of data migrated from the acquired institution’s core systems into the target Hogan environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document data conversion requirements for core banking data (e.g., DDA, Loans, CIF).
- Collaborate with technology and business teams to define mapping, transformation, and validation rules.
- Perform gap analysis and contribute to the design of conversion reconciliation strategies.
- Define and execute test scenarios to validate successful data migration and integrity post-conversion.
- Act as a liaison between source system SMEs and the Hogan target team to ensure accurate alignment.
- Support data validation, test execution, defect resolution, and go-live reconciliation processes.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in core banking, with a strong emphasis on data migration.
- Prior experience working on Hogan platform conversions (Deposits, Loans, CIF, etc.).
- Demonstrated success in at least one large-scale M&A or core banking data conversion.
- Ability to translate complex business and data requirements into clear technical documentation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with IBM Hogan systems, especially within DDA, Loans, and CIF modules.
- Familiarity with data reconciliation tools, test automation frameworks, or ETL technologies.
- Understanding of M&A program structures and post-merger integration dynamics.
- Exposure to regulatory and compliance considerations in data migration projects.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (On-site 2–3 days/week in Columbus, Ohio)
