The organization works at the intersection of generative AI research and enterprise scale systems, and its technologies span the AI and ML training and production lifecycle end to end, including agentic AI architectures; multi-agent conversational systems; LLM inference; ML model training, fine-tuning and monitoring; and much more.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with world-class researchers, engineers, business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to take AI initiatives from concept to production, delivering high reliability, real-time delightful experiences for customers across all lines of business (credit card, retail banking, auto finance, etc.)
In addition to the technical program, the role will also work to pave the way for an expanding TPM discipline within the team, by leveraging industry knowledge and experience to show the organization what a great TPM can achieve.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive critical AI and ML platform initiatives that deliver on business goals and build large scale data products and platforms
Lead technology focused discussions with senior leadership by providing valuable insights and recommendations that guide technology based decisions
Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks throughout delivery lifecycle
Help grow and mentor fellow TPMs, while also building the foundations for the TPM practice
Simplify the technically complex and drive well educated decisions across product, engineering, design, and data science representatives
Collaborate across different functions, organizations, and reporting boundaries to deliver results
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field
At least 9 years of experience managing technical programs
Strong technical background (ideally building highly scalable platforms, products, or services)
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Excellent problem solving and influencing skills
Quantitative approach to problem solving and collaborative implementation of holistic solutions; systems thinking capability
Deep focus on execution, follow through, accountability, and results
Exceptional cross team collaboration abilities
Highly tuned emotional intelligence with strong listening skills and empathy for teams and partners
Preferred Qualifications:
9+ years of experience designing and building data intensive solutions using distributed computing
5+ years of experience in building distributed systems and highly available services using cloud computing services/architecture, preferably using AWS
5+ years experience building on high scale, low latency data platforms
5+ years of experience with Agile delivery
5+ years experience delivering large and complex programs where you own the business or technical vision, collaborate with large cross functional teams, secure commitments on deliverables and unblock teams to land business impact
Experience in building systems and solutions within a highly regulated environment
MBA or Master's Degree in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering)
AI/ML software product or system development experience
AI/ML industry impact through conference presentations, papers, blog posts, open source contributions, or patents
