A client of ours, a leading financial technology company based in the San Francisco Bay Area, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Manager to join their Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO). This role is critical in driving high-priority, cross-functional initiatives that shape the strategic direction of the organization. Acting as a “general manager for hire,” you will lead complex programs selected by executive leadership, ensuring alignment, execution, and measurable impact across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic, cross-functional programs in a fast-paced environment
- Translate ambiguous business challenges into structured, actionable plans
- Drive execution of high-impact initiatives aligned with organizational strategy
- Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams (e.g., product, engineering, marketing)
- Build compelling narratives and communicate program progress to stakeholders
- Identify risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies
- Develop scalable processes to improve operational efficiency and program velocity
- Ensure accountability and alignment across multiple workstreams
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 8+ years of experience in program management, business operations, strategy, or consulting
- Proven experience working in FinTech or banking-related environments (or equivalent complex, regulated industries)
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting to executive (C-Suite) stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority
- Advanced project/program management and prioritization skills
- Ability to independently drive solutions in ambiguous, high-pressure environments
- Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal)
