A tier-one global bank is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead multiple complex programs and strategic initiatives across the organization. This role is critical in driving enterprise change, aligning business and technology, and ensuring successful execution of high-impact programs, including regulatory and transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in program management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to navigate complex, cross-functional environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership & Execution
- Lead execution of complex, multi-disciplinary programs aligned with strategic business objectives
- Develop and manage program plans, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Track key milestones, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery
- Drive implementation of initiatives involving cross-business unit regulatory and transformation efforts
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and System Development & Maintenance standards
- Manage risk proactively through structured governance frameworks
- Oversee program alignment with ECM framework and enterprise risk management practices
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Communicate program objectives, risks, issues, and status across all organizational levels
- Facilitate cross-functional coordination and decision-making across business and technology teams
- Engage with executives and senior stakeholders to drive alignment and outcomes
Cross-Functional Coordination & Strategy
- Liaise between business units and technology teams to improve efficiency and productivity
- Manage complex initiatives involving ambiguous or evolving requirements
- Drive prioritization, scope decisions, and issue resolution across multiple workstreams
Required Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in program management or related leadership roles
- Proven expertise managing complex, enterprise-scale programs in financial services
- Strong understanding of SDLC processes and technology delivery frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive engagement
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Corporate Shared Services, including Finance or related domains
- Familiarity with enterprise governance frameworks and regulatory program delivery
- Experience managing cross-business unit transformation initiatives
- Strong adaptability in fast-paced, changing environments
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise transformation programs
