A major British global bank is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Client Change Management, Client Connectivity.
Location: Hybrid – New York, NY
This role focuses on managing client change initiatives within the connectivity space, ensuring seamless implementation and adoption of new systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage client change management projects related to connectivity solutions
- Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies to support client onboarding and migration activities
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver connectivity projects on time and within scope
- Engage with clients to understand requirements, manage expectations, and ensure successful adoption of new connectivity platforms
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with client transitions and system implementations
- Create and maintain project documentation, including status reports, risk registers, and stakeholder communications
- Facilitate training and support activities to ensure clients are equipped to utilize connectivity solutions effectively
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance client experience and operational efficiency
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management, preferably within financial services or banking
- Strong understanding of client connectivity platforms and related technologies
- Demonstrated expertise in change management methodologies and best practices
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience working with cross-functional teams across different geographies
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus
Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with connectivity protocols and platforms used in institutional banking
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
- Understanding of regulatory requirements related to client connectivity and data management
