A top-20 U.S.-based commercial bank is seeking a Senior Transformation Program Manager to lead large-scale, complex transformation initiatives. This role is critical in driving strategic change, delivering measurable business outcomes, and ensuring alignment across senior leadership and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in program management, governance, and organizational transformation within a banking environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams through enterprise-wide transformation initiatives and strategic programs
  • Design, plan, and manage programs within established governance frameworks
  • Drive execution discipline by establishing operating rhythms and ensuring timely delivery
  • Define success metrics, KPIs, and performance tracking mechanisms
  • Provide transparent reporting and insights to senior leadership
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies through structured documentation and escalation
  • Develop executive-level communications and transformation artifacts
  • Optimize resource allocation and prioritization strategies
  • Foster collaboration across business units and break down organizational silos
  • Deliver data-driven strategic recommendations leveraging banking and operational expertise
  • Promote innovation and continuous improvement across transformation initiatives
  • Mentor and develop team members while supporting a high-performance culture
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, risk standards, and internal controls

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience (or 11+ years combined education/work experience)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated experience in large-scale transformation or program management initiatives
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking
  • Ability to operate effectively in a financial services or banking environment
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written communication required)

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in financial services or banking (especially equipment finance or lending environments)
  • 5+ years of program/project/portfolio management experience in transformation initiatives
  • Certifications such as PMP, Agile, SAFe, ScrumMaster, or Business Analysis
  • Advanced degree (MBA or MS) preferred
  • Experience in organizational change management and consulting engagements
  • Strong capability in governance frameworks, risk management, and compliance
  • Ability to drive long-term transformation programs and sustain outcomes over extended durations
