A large Northeast regional bank is seeking a Sr Program Manager to join their team.
Location: Johnston, RI
The Sr Program Manager will be responsible for leading and managing complex programs across the organization, ensuring successful delivery of strategic initiatives that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple complex programs from initiation through delivery
- Develop comprehensive program plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure program objectives are met
- Monitor program progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks and issues
- Provide regular status updates and reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to program management methodologies and best practices
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the program management function
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across business units and technology teams
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party dependencies as needed
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 7+ years of program or project management experience in financial services or related industry
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex programs
- Strong understanding of program management methodologies and frameworks
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience with program management tools and software
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred
- Knowledge of banking operations and technology systems a plus
Compensation: $160,000 – $200,000
